About Solo Home Decor: A Legacy of Craftsmanship
I still remember the scent of freshly cut wood filling the air. It was warm, rich, and full of promise, the smell of something about to come to life. I was only four years old when I first fell in love with furniture, sitting beside my father in his workshop and watching him turn simple materials into something beautiful.
I would stay for hours, fascinated by his every movement and the way he carved, shaped, and smoothed each piece with such care. When the furniture was finished, it was more than a piece of furniture. It was something with soul. Each piece had its own character and presence. I did not just admire my father’s work. I was inspired by it.
As I grew older, that inspiration turned into a deep passion. I wanted to create more than standardized furniture. I wanted to create something personal, something that fit the way people truly lived. So, I listened. I studied. I explored different styles from around the world and learned how design evolved over time. I did not focus only on aesthetics. I focused on how furniture shapes daily life, how it brings comfort, transforms a space, and becomes part of someone’s story.
Over the years, I worked with well-known companies, collaborated with celebrities, builders, and designers, and crafted remarkable furniture. After years of working within the industry, I knew it was time for something more. I did not want to simply follow industry trends or fit within existing standards. I wanted to redefine them. I wanted to create furniture without limitations, where artistry, functionality, and individuality came together. It was time to build something of my own.
That is why I founded Solo Home Decor: to create furniture that adapts to life, not the other way around. Our designs are not limited by standard dimensions or mass production. Each project is created with purpose, whether it is a statement sofa for a large living room, a space-saving solution for a city apartment, or custom furniture designed to fit a family’s daily life.
After founding Solo Home Decor, I brought together skilled artisans who shared my commitment to detail and quality. Together, we bring each design to life by combining traditional techniques with modern creativity. The result is custom furniture that is both beautiful and functional, supporting the way people live, move, and feel in their space.
We design with people in mind. A family with toddlers may need something durable and safe. A couple may want something elegant and intimate. An older client may need furniture that offers added comfort and support. Furniture is not only about appearance. It is also about how it feels, how it fits into everyday life, and how it helps make a house feel like home.
After more than 23 years of bringing custom furniture to life, my passion remains the same. I listen carefully to each client and work to understand what the furniture needs to do for their space and daily life. Whether we are selecting the right fabric for a busy household, designing a structure that maximizes space, or creating a timeless piece meant to last for years, every decision is made with care.
Today, I can still sit beside my father with a warm cup of coffee and reflect on our journey, the lessons we have learned, the homes we have helped shape, and the love of craftsmanship that continues to connect us. There is always another story to create, another home to bring to life, and another piece waiting to be made.

Every custom furniture project is created to fit your life, your home, and your story.
What Makes
Solo Home Decor
Different
At Solo Home Decor, we design custom furniture around the way each client lives and uses the space. Every sofa, sectional, bed, banquette, bench, chair, and upholstered feature is planned with careful attention to dimensions, comfort, style, and daily function.
Sigal works closely with homeowners, interior designers, builders, and hospitality clients throughout the design process. Clients can choose from more than 1,000 fabric options, along with customized configurations, cushioning, finishes, and construction details.
Our goal is to create furniture that feels personal, functions well, and fits the space rather than asking the client to adapt to standard sizes or limited options.
Designed Around Your Space
Custom furniture should work with the room, not compete with it. We consider dimensions, scale, layout, comfort, and daily use when developing each design.
From sofas and sectionals to beds, banquettes, benches, chairs, wall panels, and theater seating, each project can be tailored to the proportions and character of the space.
The result is furniture created specifically for the client, whether for a private home, a hospitality setting, or a professionally designed interior.
Commitment to Quality and Client Care
Every Solo Home Decor project is designed and built in Los Angeles with careful attention to construction, comfort, upholstery, and finish. From custom banquettes and sofas to beds, benches, chairs, wall panels, and theater seating, each project is tailored to the space and intended use.
Quality and client care guide the full process, from the first consultation and material selections through construction, delivery, and final placement. We communicate clearly, review the details carefully, and work to make sure the finished furniture feels right in the room.
Our work is proudly made in the USA and supported by a 1-year warranty covering craftsmanship and structural integrity under normal use. Client feedback and five-star reviews reflect the care we bring to each project.
